Sharge Retractable 65 debuts as power brick with built-in pull-to-use USB-C cable
Sharge asserts that it is time to "Get Your Groove On" with the Retractable 65, as it is built around a spool for its USB-C cable, on show through the new power brick's transparent housing.
It is rated to snap back into the accessory for storage, or unwind at a pull when it is time to connect it to something that can use its up-to-65W power delivery (PD 3.0) technology, powered by an "Advanced GaN" chip for "greater energy efficiency".
Accordingly, the global edition of the S4 might be the ideal companion for a new smartphone from the Samsung Galaxy S25 series in the near future. Sharge also asserts that it can cut charging times for some 15-inch MacBook Airs by up to 45% compared to the stock charger.
The power brick also boasts a second USB-C port, so that it can charge 2 devices even if its integrated cable is already occupied. It tips the scales at 130g (4.59oz) and supports a host of proprietary quick charging technologies, namely BC1.2, QC2.0, QC3.0, AFC, FCP, SCP, SFCP, PPS.
