Xiaomi launches new transparent power bank with 212W fast charging support ^↺

Xiaomi has made the Power Bank 25000 official, and just like the company showcased in an announcement made earlier this month, it features a transparent design. More specifically, it looks similar to the Cuktech 20, but that's no surprise as Cuktech is a Xiaomi subsidiary brand.

Nonetheless, the new power bank is now available in China, and the pre-sale price is at CNY 549, about $78. While it has a relatively high battery capacity, it's rated at 90.8 Wh, making it airline-safe. This high capacity also makes the portable charger capable of charging Xiaomi 14 Pro 3.88 times, iPhone 15 4.91 times, and MacBook Pro 0.69 times.

As for the charging speed, the new 2500 power bank supports 212W fast charging. However, not all the ports max out at that power output rating. As Xiaomi says, the USB-C1 can offer up to 140W, USB-C2 up to 45W, and up to 120W on the USB-A. This three-port configuration also means that you can power three devices at once.

On that note, when three devices are connected to the portable charger, the ports will max out at 65W, 27W, and 120W, respectively. Xiaomi says an intelligent power allocation mechanism will ensure that the connected devices get the optimal level of power.

Another highlight of this new 212W Xiaomi power bank is that it comes with a digital display. This built-in screen shows real-time charging info, the remaining battery, the fast charging protocol that's currently being used, and more.

Speaking of which, this 25000 Xiaomi power bank has support for PPS, PD 3.1, QC 3.0, Samsung AFC, Apple 2.4A, Huawei FCP, and DCP 1.5A. There are multiple protection features as well. They ensure safe and stable charging.
