Xiaomi has confirmed, albeit involuntarily via a certification, that the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will soon get a global launch. The Xiaomi 15 Ultra recently appeared in the EEC database under the model number 25010PN30G. The model number is not completely new: in July, the three model numbers 25010PN30G, 25010PN30C and 225010PN30I were discovered in the IMEI database.
This information can be considered quite reliable, as such certification is mandatory in order to bring a product to various markets. Products are only certified if there is an intention to bring them to the corresponding markets through official channels. As such certifications are not necessary for direct import (from the manufacturer's point of view) and require some effort, such certification is never an end in itself.
However, a launch timeframe cannot yet be derived from this certification, and no further technical specs for the Xiaomi 15 Ultra can be gleaned either. It is likely that the Ultra version will not be released in China until next year, although the rumor mill about the Xiaomi 15 Ultra's camera is already abuzz. For example, there is said to be a better 10x zoom and an improved front camera, especially for better selfies. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 may be used as the SoC. As always, all specs should be taken with a grain of salt until confirmed by the manufacturer.
