Earlier this month, smartphone giant Xiaomi announced a new power bank with a capacity of 10,000 mAh along with a maximum power output of 165 W. The device has now gone on sale in China, priced at 199 Yuan, or just under $30.
From the exterior, the product rocks a sleek design with a display that shows charging information and state. The power bank can charge up supported Xiaomi smartphones with up to 120 W, while also charging up a secondary device with 45 W. The power bank itself can charge up with 90 W and can reach a 55% state of charge in just 15 minutes.
The power bank supports a wide variety of standards, including PD 3.0, PPS, and QC 3.0 among others. This allows compatibility with a wide range of devices, including tablets and laptops such as Apple's MacBook Pro (currently $1,399 on Amazon). The product also features a built-in USB-C cable, saving the hassle of carrying separate cables.
The power bank is available for purchase from JD.com in China, and judging from Xiaomi's past habits, the product is likely to also hit the international market.
