Black Shark launches new high-capacity power bank with built-in cable and display

Black Shark has introduced a new power bank in China. It features a relatively high 20,000 mAh rated capacity, which the company says is enough to get the iPhone 16 Pro from 0% to 100% about four times and Xiaomi 14 three times. There's support for 55W fast charging as well.

With that, the new Black Shark power bank aims to get the iPhone 16 Pro Max charged to 50% in 20 minutes. Thanks to the 40W input support, the portable charger can recharge quickly too.

Other than that, the 55W power bank has a built-in USB-C braided cable. It is 15 cm long, and Black Shark says that the company has tested it rigorously to ensure it can withstand daily abuse. In addition to this built-in cable, there is a USB-C port and one USB-A port. These two extra ports allow the portable charger to power up three devices simultaneously.

The Black Shark 55W power bank supports multiple charging standards, including PPS, PD, SCP, UFCS, and QC. These make it compatible with a wide range of devices, including laptops and low-power accessories.

Another highlight of the 55W power bank is that it comes with a built-in display. It shows real-time charging information and battery capacity. As for the price, this new Black Shark power bank has an initial tag of CNY 179, which converts to around $25. There's no word on global availability yet, but the company does sell its other accessories outside China.
