Baseus PicoGo 45W fast charger launches as Anker Nano II competitor

The Baseus PicoGo 45W charger has made its formal launch, and it's going head-to-head with the Anker Nano II. However, there are a couple of features that make Anker's offering better. For example, the Nano II has a foldable plug, making the fast charger easier to carry.

Although the PicoGo 45W power adapter has a compact form factor, it doesn't have a foldable plug. Another aspect where the Anker Nano II is better is in terms of price. The fast charger usually goes for $23.99 (curr.  $19.99 on Amazon), while Baseus's new offering launched at $25.99.

However, the PicoGo 45W does stand as a better option in some aspects. For instance, the new fast charger packs GaN 6 technology, while the Nano II relies on GaN 2. Baseus says that this new tech allows the power adapter to deliver enhanced efficiency, with an energy conversion rate of 93%.

Another highlight of the Baseus PicoGo 45W charger is its support for multiple charging standards. That includes PD 3.0, QC 3.0, PPS, FCP, AFC, and SCP. Anker doesn't offer a detailed description of Nano II's supported protocols, but it does mention support for PPS.

Baseus also highlights all the safety protocols of the PicoGo 45W fast charger. The company says that the adapter monitors the charging status 720,000 times per hour, ensuring safe and stable charging sessions. There's a dual heat dissipation cooling setup to keep the temperature under control.
