Baseus unveils Bowie 30 Max noise-cancelling headphones with 65 hours of battery life
Baseus, a well-known charging accessories manufacturer brand has unveiled its latest over-ear headphones, the Bowie 30 Max. The company’s latest addition to its Bowie series brings significant upgrades over the last generation models such as Bowie H1i and Bowie D05.
The Bowie 30 Max retains the same look as its predecessors, with flattened rounded-off vaguely rectangular earcups, which slightly remind Apple AirPods Max’s build. It has a foldable design with a customizable headband and 120-degree rotatable earcups.
Baseus has packed 50mm bigger sound drivers into the Bowie 30 Max, up from the 40mm PET drivers of the Bowie H1i. The advantage of having larger drivers in the headphones is that they can offer more powerful bass and a wider range of sound, compared to the smaller ones. So, you can expect more or less the same output with these headphones.
There’s no information on the chip. However, the company does confirm that the headphones are rated to support the LDAC, AAC, and SBC codecs. Furthermore, they offer a -45dB active noise cancellation (ANC) support and the latest Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity for a seamless connection. You can also connect the headphones to two devices simultaneously via multipoint connection. Then, again, there is no support for Microsoft Swift Pair or Google Fast Pair.
These over-ear headphones have dual ENC-enabled microphones, a step down from the 4-mic ENC found in the last generation Bowie H1i. Baseus claims that the dual active noise-canceling microphones are capable of blocking out unwanted noise to an extent of up to 40 decibels.
According to the manufacturer, the headphones last up to 50 hours with ANC on and 65 hours with ANC off, and the volume at 70% at all times. They also have Baseus’s Rapid Charge technology support, and a 10-minute quick charge will provide up to 14 hours of listening time.
The company has also offered a dedicated Baseus companion app for the Bowie 30 Max which enables EQ customizations, low latency mode, bass enhancement, and more.
The Baseus Bowie 30 Max is now available for $69.99, thanks to a 33% discount and a $30 discount coupon valid until 3rd November 2024. You can snag the headphones via Amazon USA, UK, and EU. Buyers can also find the headphones on Baseus’s official website. Once the launch offer period is over, the headphones will come at their regular price which is set at $149.99. The Bowie 30 Max comes in a single Black color option.
