A new Anker USB-C to USB-C cable has been spotted at Amazon. The accessory has a braided nylon outer and is said to have a longer life expectancy than its predecessor. Anker has yet to officially announce the product, leaving some details, such as the pricing, unclear.

Anker appears to be about to launch a new charging cable. A product with the name USB-C to USB-C Cable 544 Bio-Nylon (0.9m) Black has appeared at Amazon Germany. The accessory has also appeared at third-party retailers like RedShell in the Netherlands.

The Anker 544 USB-C to USB-C cable follows the earlier 543 model, which features a similar bio-nylon braiding. However, the newer version is said to withstand up to 30,000 bends, whereas the original model was marketed as having a 20,000-bend lifespan. The Amazon page indicates that the 544 delivers 140W+ charging, powering a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra to 65% in half an hour. By comparison, the 543 is described as a 240W cable, charging a Macbook Air 15 (M2) to 50% in 34 minutes.

The Amazon Germany product listing from third-party seller ZAR Systems suggests that the Anker 544 USB-C to USB-C Cable Bio-Nylon (0.9m) will retail for €55, shipping in the next few weeks. However, given that the older Anker 543 USB-C to USB-C Cable (240W, Bio) of the same length retails for €11.99, this information is likely incorrect. Whether or not other lengths and colors will launch remains to be seen. It is also unclear if the product will be released in other markets like the US or the UK.
