Sharge has launched the CarbonBlade portable power bank in various countries worldwide. The accessory was announced earlier this year and is one of three new carbon fiber accessories from the brand, appearing alongside the CarbonMag (5K) and the CarbonMag (10K).
The CarbonBlade has a 10,000mAh battery, which allows you to charge an iPhone 15 1.7 times or a Samsung Galaxy S24 1.5 times. There are two ports on the device, USB-A and USB-C, providing up to 22.5W PD fast charging output, and it is said to charge an iPhone 15 to 71% in 25 minutes. Other features include a low current mode, compatibility with other fast charging protocols such as QC3.0 and PPS, and safety features like short-circuit and extreme heat protection. Sharge describes the power bank as ultra-light and ultra-slim, weighing 165g (~0.36 lbs) and measuring 122 x 61 x 11.6 mm (~4.80 x 2.40 x 0.46 inches). That makes it lighter and thinner than the Anker PowerCore 10000 (curr. $25.99 at Amazon), which weighs 180 g (~0.40 lbs) and measures 92 × 60 × 22 mm (~3.6 × 2.4 × 0.9 inches). However, it is still thicker and heavier than the Nitecore NB1000, which is 10.6 mm (~0.42 inches) thick and weighs 150g (~0.33 lbs).
In addition to reducing the weight of the accessory, carbon fiber is said to make it particularly durable and provide a smooth feel. The Sharge CarbonBlade power bank is priced at $69.90/£55.62/€69.90, though it is currently available for the reduced price of $49.90/£39.70/€49.90.
