The Anker MagGo Power Bank (5K, Slim) has been launched in the US and Canada. This previously rumored and photographed accessory is a smaller version of the MagGo Power Bank (10K, Slim), which launched at IFA in September. Like its predecessor, the gadget is designed for the iPhone.
The MagGo Power Bank provides 15W Qi2-certified wireless charging via the magnetic pad on the front. You can charge a second device via the USB-C port, which offers an up to 20W output. However, when two devices are charged simultaneously, the USB-C offers 12W power, and the wireless charging output is capped at 5W. The power bank is charged via the same USB-C port, with support for pass-through charging and LED indicators to show the battery level.
The compact accessory measures 102 x 70 x 9 mm (~4.0 x 2.8 x 0.4 inches) and weighs 120 g (~0.3 lbs). You can now buy the Anker MagGo Power Bank (5K, Slim) in the US and Canada for $49.95 and CA$69.95, respectively. The accessory is currently exclusively available at the Apple Store, where customers can choose between white and blue versions. It is unclear whether or when the product will be available at other stores or in other markets like Europe. The Anker MagGo Power Bank (10K, Slim) is sold at Amazon for $69.99.
