Limited edition Anker 100W Prime Charger now available in the US

The Anker Prime Charger (100W, 3 Ports, GaN) Fragment Edition is now listed on Amazon in the US. This accessory launched in Japan earlier this year as part of a limited edition kit designed in collaboration with Fragment Design, a fashion label led by Hiroshi Fujiwara.

This Prime Charger features a black casing and bold white font stating “100W” on one side and “FRGMT/Anker” on another. Aside from the design, the model is identical to the original Prime Charger (100W, 3 Ports, GaN), which has a dark gray and metallic silver finish. The charger has two USB-C ports with a maximum output of 100W and one 22.5W USB-A port; the maximum combined output is also 100W. ActiveShield 2.0 is said to protect you against issues like overheating. Plus, thanks to a combination of GaN technology and folding pins, the accessory is compact, measuring 1.7 x 1.5 x 2.4 inches (~44 x 39 x 60 mm).

The original kit included the charger, a braided USB-C to USB-C cable, four cable ties and a jointly braided storage bag. However, it appears that the US version of the product only comes with the charging cable. At Amazon US, the Anker Prime Charger (100W, 3 Ports, GaN) Fragment Edition is listed with a $89.99 RRP, though it is currently reduced to $59.99 in a Black Friday Deal. By comparison, the standard version, which does not come with a cable, has a $84.99 RRP but is available for $54.99 at the moment.
