Aokzoe has now revealed more details about about the A1 X, less than a month after showcasing the gaming handheld on social media. To recap, the company had previously confirmed that the A1 X would utilise an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 APU, just like the Ayaneo 3, OneXFly F1 Pro (curr. $1,569 on Amazon) and other modern Windows gaming handhelds.
In a series of subsequent posts, Aokzoe has confirmed that the A1 X will support bypass charging, which will allow it to draw power directly from a wall adapter without stressing the battery. The feature should help extend the life of the handheld's battery as a result, which will ship with a 72.7 Wh advertised capacity.
The Aokzoe A1 X will also boast a MicroSD 4.0 card reader that will match its rivals with up to 300 MB/s transfer speeds. 'Capacitive-grade' joysticks will be included too, which Aokzoe insists will provide 'ultra-smooth control' for a 'flawless' gaming experience. As always, we would recommend reserving judgement until independent reviews arrive. Unfortunately, it remains unclear when Aokzoe plans to release its latest 8-inch gaming handheld at this stage.
