Powkiddy V20: Specifications and images leak for new pocket-sized gaming handheld
Various sources have shared information about a new gaming handheld from Powkiddy. For now, the device is being referred to as the V20, despite its obvious visual similarities with the RGB20S that Powkiddy released almost three years ago.
The so-called V20 could also be viewed as a newer version of last year's Powkiddy V10 (curr. $45 on Amazon), which combined a Rockchip RK3326 chipset and 1 GB of DDR3L RAM with a 3.5-inch display. In comparison, leaked specifications indicate that Powkiddy has equipped the V20 with the Allwinner A133P found in the TrimUI Brick, TrimUI Smart Pro and the new MagicX Mini Zero 28.
While the latter utilises 2 GB of DDR4 RAM, it seems that Powkiddy plans to go with slower 1 GB DDR3 RAM on the V20 instead. The Powkiddy V20 is said to contain a 3.5-inch IPS display that outputs at 640 x 480 pixels too, as well as a 5,000 mAh battery that should last up to 10 hours in a best-case scenario. No party has shared an official release date for the Powkiddy V20 just yet, with YouTube channel Nittrx adding that the device will be available 'soon'.
