Xiaomi is rolling out its 5-in-1 Type-C Hub across Europe. The accessory was spotted on the brand’s global website last year and launched in the UK a couple of months later. Now, the product is available in EU countries like Italy and Germany. Plus, a help page suggests that it will shortly be released in France.
The 5-in-1 Type-C Hub offers three USB 3.0 ports for data transfers, with a transmission speed of up to 450 Mbps. You can use the HDMI port to connect to a monitor with a maximum resolution of 4K@60Hz. The final port, a 100W USB-C input which supports the USB Power Delivery (PD) protocol, allows for 90W pass-through charging of the host device. This is connected via the integrated USB-C cable; when not in use, the head of the USB-C connector can be stored in a groove, creating a loop which you can use to transport the accessory.
As you might expect, the product is compatible with Windows, MacOS, Linux OS and Android devices. The compact accessory has a light silver aluminum alloy casing and measures 112.5 x 10.4 x 39 mm (~4.4 x 0.4 x 1.5 inches). You can now buy the Xiaomi 5-in-1 Type-C Hub in the UK for £24.99, in Italy for €29.99 and in Germany for €34.99. It is unclear when the product will launch in France or other European countries.
