PlayStation's official launch in China has marked its 10th anniversary. To celebrate this milestone, Sony has collaborated with Xiaomi to launch a PlayStation-branded fitness tracker, which appears to be a customized Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Pro.

PlayStation China has turned 10, and to celebrate the 10th anniversary, Sony has joined hands with Xiaomi to launch a PlayStation-branded fitness tracker. While there's no clear information from either of the brands, this smartwatch appears to be a customized version of Xiaomi's Smart Band 9 Pro.

Being a special edition, the PlayStation-branded fitness tracker comes with a PlayStation-themed strap. This strap features the PlayStation logo and face button icons. The smartwatch's packaging also includes a regular black strap alongside a commemorative card and a standard charging cable.

There's no confirmation on whether this special edition of the fitness tracker also has PlayStation-branded software tweaks. As for the smartwatch itself, if it's indeed a customized Smart Band 9 Pro, it should sport a 1.74-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 336x480 pixels and a peak brightness rating of 1,200 nits.

Xiaomi's Smart Band 9 Pro also features a 5ATM water resistance rating and it comes with multiple fitness tracking features. As for health-related features, Xiaomi claims that the upgraded AFE chip can offer accurate blood oxygen and heart rate monitoring. There are sleep and women's health tracking features as well.

Neither Xiaomi nor Sony has revealed when the PlayStation-branded fitness tracker will be available. There's no word on the pricing as well. However, given that this limited-edition smartwatch is a commemorative product for PlayStation China's 10th anniversary, it may not land in the global market (regular Smart Band 9 Pro available on Amazon).
