While the Exynos 2500 didn't make it to the Galaxy S25 series despite multiple Geekbench listings suggesting otherwise, the SoC is still tipped to arrive later this year alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 7. The said listings gave us a rough idea about its specs. Now, X leaker @Jukanlosreve has revealed its full specs.
- CPU: 1x Cortex-X925 (3.3 GHz), 2x Cortex-A725 (2.75 GHz), 3x Cortex-A725 (2.36 GHz), 4x Cortex-A520 (1.8 GHz), 16 MB L3 cache
- GPU: Samsung Xclipse 950 with 16 CUs (1.3 GHz)
- RAM: 16-bit LPDDR5x 9,600 MT/s
- Storage: UFS 4.1 or 4.0
- NPU: 56 TOPS
- ISP: 320 MP with support for 8K 30 FPS recording, 8K 60 FPS decode
The Exynos 2500 is manufactured on Samsung's 3 nm SF3 (aka 3 GAP) node that should, on paper, give it a slight edge over the FinFET-based (TSMC N3E) Snapdragon 8 Elite and Dimensity 9400. Even though initial benchmarks look grim, Samsung has some time to fine-tune it before its reveal in August 2025. If the last-gen Galaxy S24 FE is anything to go by, we can expect its successor (Galaxy S25 FE) to run the same chip.
