An increasingly prolific X account continues to offer fresh insights and predictions into the Galaxy Z Fold7, six months before its presumed release. To recap, PandaFlashPro suggested yesterday that Samsung could finally bring a wired charging upgrade to the Galaxy Z Fold division with its seventh-generation release, which has been stuck at 25 W since the Galaxy Z Fold4.
The same account also alleged that the Galaxy Z Fold7 would cost just as much as the Galaxy Z Fold6, which launched last summer for $1,899.99 in the US and €1,999 in the Eurozone. Reportedly, entry-level models will come with 256 GB of storage too, just like the Galaxy Z Fold6 (curr. $1,249.99 on Amazon), before rising to 512 GB and 1 TB for more expensive variants.
All SKUs are said to feature 12 GB of RAM in another carryover from Samsung's current foldable. By contrast, the company distinguishes the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition from the regular Galaxy Z Fold6 with 16 GB of RAM, which escapes the Galaxy S25 series as well apart from the Galaxy S25 Ultra in some markets.
Meanwhile, all Galaxy Z Fold7 units should ship with the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy that underpins the Galaxy S25 series globally. Qualcomm's third version of the Snapdragon 8 Elite falls short of expectations in early benchmarks, though, despite having an overclocked CPU and GPU. Samsung's ProScaler algorithm is tipped to debut on the Galaxy Z Fold7 too, which is currently exclusive to the Galaxy S25 Plus and Galaxy S25 Ultra. Please see the image below for Samsung's description of ProScaler and how it operates.
