Xiaomi has added two new power banks to its ever-expanding list of accessories for the global market. Both power banks sport a decent capacity of 10,000 mAh, with the more expensive variant sporting an impressive 165-watt peak output and a digital display. The more affordable unit, on the other hand, settles for a modest 33-watt output.
The more reasonable variant of the two, dubbed the Xiaomi 33W Power Bank, sports a 3.19 inch x 2.59 inch (80.9 mm x 65.9 mm) chassis and tips the scales at just 0.46 pounds (210 grams). Unsurprisingly, portability appears to be the priority with this variant, and it does indeed deliver in that regard. An integrated USB-C cable is present, along with two other ports of the USB-A and USB-C flavors. As mentioned previously, the power bank can output a maximum of 33 watts at a time, which is adequate for a quick charge on the go.
Getting to the arguably more impressive variant, the Xiaomi 165W Power Bank also sports a 10,000 mAh capacity but can charge up devices much faster, including laptops. For instance, a 14-inch MacBook Pro can be juiced up 0.45 times, up to 23% in just half an hour. The power bank can output a maximum of 120 watts from the integrated USB-C cable, along with an additional 45 watts from its lone USB-C port. The Xiaomi 165W Power Bank can charge itself with up to 90 watts, good for a 75% replenishment in just 15 minutes. A digital display is also present, offering real-time battery status.
Both the power banks come with multiple safety measures, including current and voltage protection, overcharge protection, and temperature monitoring. As of right now, pricing and availability details for both power banks are under wraps, although more information should be available soon.
