AMD readying Radeon RX 9070 GRE for US market ahead of Computex

It’s been over a year since the Radeon RX 9070 GRE launched in China. At the time, it was unclear if this variant would make its way to the US market, but as the year progressed, information about its global release started popping up. Now, the card has been reportedly listed on Amazon ahead of Computex 2026.
The listings, first spotted by @technewsonweb on X, show an XFX Swift variant of the AMD Radeon RX 9070 GRE, a toned-down version of the Radeon RX 9070. The listings seem to have been removed now, but Wccftech managed to screenshot a Sapphire Pulse AMD Radeon RX 9070 GRE Gaming OC GPU listing. However, neither of the mentions comes with pricing, but it’s clear that multiple board partners are readying cards ahead of Computex 2026, scheduled for June 2.
The Radeon RX 9070 GRE will be the first RX 9070 series card with 12 GB VRAM and is positioned between the RX 9060 XT (buy XFX Switft variant on Amazon) and RX 9070 (buy XFX Swift variant on Amazon). The former is priced at around $420 to $450 while the latter comes in at $620 to $650. Safe to assume that the RX 9070 GRE will be priced somewhere around the middle, possibly at $550. For reference, the Asus offering launched in China at 4,199 RMB (around $450), but prices have gone up since then.
As per AMD’s spec, the RX 9070 GRE comes with 48 Compute Units/3,072 Stream Processors, 12 GB of 18 Gbps GDDR6 VRAM, 48 MB of Infinity Cache, a boost clock of up to 2,790 MHz, and a 220W TDP.
