Lidl has launched the Crivit Electric Bike Edition #Lidlize in France. Based on the Crivit Classic, this version has a blue, yellow and red design. It is the winning design from a recent competition, where the company invited customers to use the Lidlize AI object creation tool to come up wit new potential products.
Aside from the color scheme, this e-bike is identical to the original Crivit Classic, which was rolled out in various countries, including the Netherlands, Poland and Germany, in March. Features of this electric bicycle include an Ananda M131SD 250W 40Nm rear hub motor, with a boost button and three assistance modes: Eco, Tour and Race. Your chosen assistance mode, as well as the remaining battery level, are shown on a handlebar-mounted LED display.
The Crivit #Lidlize's removable 355Wh battery is said to provide up to 70 km (~43.5 miles) assistance range, recharging in around 5.5 hours. This 7-speed model also features a Shimano Tourney derailleur, a suspension fork, Tektro mechanical disc brakes and Kenda tires. The Crivit e-bike weighs around 24 kg (~53 lbs) and is fitted with accessories like an AtranVelo luggage rack, front and rear lighting, and space to store a tracker like an Apple Air tag (curr. $24.95 at Amazon).
You can buy the Lidl Crivit Electric Bike Edition #Lidlize in France for €1,299, the same RRP as the standard Crivit Classic Electric Bike. According to the Lidl France online store, only a limited quantity of the Crivit Electric Bike Edition #Lidlize is available; an exact number has not been provided. It is unclear whether or when this version could launch in other European markets.
