American urban-focused e-bike manufacturer Ride1Up has unveiled its latest electric bike, the Vorsa. The company's new e-bike features a modular SUV-inspired multi-use frame that can support payloads of up to 440 lbs (199.5 kg). It is equipped with a 750 W rear motor with 95 Nm torque, delivers up to a 28 mph (~48 kph) top speed and is ready to tackle moderate inclines.
The Vorsa e-bike boasts a 720 Wh battery that provides up to 60 miles (~96.5 km) of range on a single charge. It has an 8-speed drive train, which you can adjust via a handlebar-mounted grip shifter. A front-mounted new profile LED light and the rear-mounted taillight offer better nighttime visibility.
The 8-speed bike features Schwalbe Smart Sam 27.5 x 2.6-inch touring tires and a 100 mm coil spring suspension fork with a hydraulic lockout for smooth riding on rough terrain and bumpy roads. Furthermore, Ride1Up packs star union hydraulic disk brakes into the e-bike, 203 mm at the rear and 180 mm at the front. There’s also a new color LCD display on the handlebar that provides insights such as the speed, charging percentage, mileage, and more. Plus, it also comes with built-in Apple AirTag tech with Apple FindMy.
Moreover, the UL 2849 & 2271-certified e-bike measures 1825 x 1054 x 378 mm (71.8 x 41.4 x 14.8 inches) and weighs 70 lbs (31.5 kg). Other features include a multi-class speed system, GPS tracking, a dual-sensor pedal-assist system, and IPX6 water resistance.
