The Engwe Mapfour N1 Air and N1 Pro e-bikes are now available to pre-order in Europe. These commuter bicycles were revealed earlier this year and are the first models to sit under the new Mapfour sub-brand. The two models are marketed as affordable, with RRPs of €1,399 and €1,899, respectively.
Engwe claims that the N1 Air is the lightest carbon e-bike at this price point with a 100 km (~60 miles) range. This electric bicycle weighs 15.6 kg, thanks in part to the 1.28 kg carbon fiber frame with an aluminum fork. The Air has a 250W Mivice motor with up to 40Nm torque and an accompanying torque sensor. The 7-speed model is also equipped with Shimano transmission, a detachable 10Ah 360Wh Samsung battery and an LCD color display. Other features include GPS tracking, detected theft notifications and an SOS tool.
The N1 Pro is powered by a 250W 80Nm Ananda mid-drive motor, accompanied by a 487Wh battery for up to 100 km range; the power pack recharges in 1.5 hours. This model also has a carbon fiber frame weighing 19 kg in total. Features include hydraulic disc brakes and a Shimano 7-speed transmission. Plus, the bike offers a Bluetooth lock, GPS location tracking and a solar-powered rear light.
You can pre-order the Engwe Mapfour N1 Air and N1 Pro e-bikes for the discounted prices of €1,299 and €1,799, respectively. As well as the reduced cost, early-bird customers are also offered a package worth over €250, with a rear rack, fender and a kickstand. They will officially launch on March 6th, when pre-orders are expected to ship.
