Decathlon has launched the Rockrider E-ACTV 100 low-frame e-bike in several European countries. This new model, designed for road and trail rides, was revealed at the start of February, with a high-frame version released several weeks later.
You can now buy the E-ACTV 100 low-frame e-bike in markets like the Netherlands, Spain and France for €999.99, the same price as the high-frame variant. The model has a weight of 24 kg and 28-inch wheels. The E-ACTV 100 low-frame e-bike has a Pearl grey finish and is available in two sizes: S/M for riders 1.50 m to 1.72 m tall and L/XL designed for those measuring up to 1.95 m. The E-ACTV 100 high-frame is offered in the same sizes, though its frame is a darker shade called Anthracite grey.
Aside from the frame style, the two versions of the entry-level E-ACTV bicycle are the same. At the rear is a brushless 250W motor with 45Nm maximum torque, accompanied by a 356Wh battery for up to 70 km (~44 miles) range. There is front suspension with 60 mm travel, and the tires are reinforced with dual polyamide protection for puncture resistance. This 6-speed model also has a Microshift RD M21 rear derailleur, mechanical disc brakes and integrated lighting.
On top of this, you can mount your smartphone to the bike via the SP connect accessory and connect via Bluetooth. This allows you to view your speed and remaining battery level in real time, with further journey statistics also available via the Decathlon Ride app. It remains to be seen when the Decathlon Rockrider E-ACTV 100 e-bikes will launch in the UK.
