Decathlon has released the new Stilus Off Road 29-inch hardtail e-bike in more European countries. The entry-level model was launched in Italy and Germany at the start of March. It has a particularly impressive feature set, given its low price.
You can now buy the Decathlon Stilus Off Road 29-inch hardtail e-bike in the Netherlands, France and Spain for €1,699.99, the same price as in Italy and Germany. The e-bike is also available in Ireland, where it is listed with a slightly higher RRP of €1,740.00.
The Stilus Off Road is one of the first Decathlon e-bikes to feature a motor from Star Union; the mid-mounted model offers 410W peak power and up to 110Nm torque, assisting riders at speeds up to 25 kph (~16 mph). The accompanying 504 Wh provides assistance for up to 70 km (~43 miles), and you can choose from five assistance modes on the color TFT display.
The Off Road is a 9-speed model with a Microshift Advent RD-M619M rear derailleur, a Suntour XCM 32 Fork with 120 mm travel, Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes and 29 x 2.4-inch CST Patrol tires. The e-bike has a semi-rigid aluminum frame, available in four sizes from S to XL, weighing between 22.4 and 22.8 kg. Whether or when the Decathlon Stilus Off Road could launch in the UK remains unclear.
