Anker has launched its Nano Travel Adapter (5-in-1, 20W) in the US. The accessory leaked in November and has since been released in Germany. The versions on sale in North America and Europe appear to be identical.
The Nano Travel Adapter can be used in over 200 countries, like the UK, France and Australia, thanks to a series of retracting and foldable pins for Type A, Type I, Type G and Type C plugs. Anker reminds prospective customers that this device does not convert voltage. The 2-pin to 2-pin set-up is said to prevent electric shocks, and there is also a temperature control safety feature.
You can simultaneously connect up to five devices thanks to an AC outlet and four USB ports. Two are USB-C, offering up to 20W and 15W each; Anker suggests that the 20W output could charge an iPhone 16 to 50% in under half an hour. The two USB-A ports offer up to 12W, and when multiple ports are used simultaneously, they share up to 15W. Anker describes its new product as compact, measuring 3.39 x 1.97 x 0.98 inches (~86 x 50 x 25 mm) and weighing 3.77 oz (107 g). It indicates that it is 43% smaller than competitor models, though it does not name these.
You can now buy the Anker Nano Travel Adapter (5-in-1, 20W) at Amazon US for $25.99. The accessory has yet to reach other European countries like the Netherlands and France, and a UK version has not been mentioned to date. However, a second white version is now available for customers at Amazon Germany at the same price of €24.99.
