The Xiaomi 212W HyperCharge Power Bank 25000 is coming to markets globally. This portable accessory was crowdfunded in China last year, where it is currently on general sale. Now, the company has listed this product on its global website. Plus, it has already appeared at the brand’s stores in Japan and Hong Kong.
As its name suggests, the 212W HyperCharge Power Bank has a maximum total output of 212W. You can use the accessory to charge three devices simultaneously via a USB-A and two USB-C ports. The first USB-C port offers up to 140W output with support for the PD 3.1 protocol. The second USB-C is capped at 45W, and the USB-A offers up to 120W output. When all three ports are in use, the USB-C outputs are 65W and 27W, while the USB-A remains at 120W.
The power bank has a 90.8Wh battery, enough to charge an iPhone 15 almost five times or a Macbook Pro 0.7 times. It recharges via an up to 100W input in as little as 2.5 hours. On the front of the accessory is a color display showing information like the remaining battery level and charging status. The power bank is transparent on three sides, with Xiaomi suggesting that this “reveals a geek-chic interior”. Plus, there is a low-current mode and nine safety protection features.
It remains to be seen when the Xiaomi 212W HyperCharge Power Bank 25000 will arrive in other countries and at what price. As an indication, it retails for 12,980 (~$87) in Japan and HK$599 (~$77) in Hong Kong. It is worth noting that there is another listing on the Xiaomi global site for the Xiaomi 212W HyperCharge Power Bank 24500, which appears to be identical to the 25000 version.
