Toyota has announced that it will reveal a new battery electric vehicle in March. A teaser image and video (below) indicate that this could be a production version of the bZ Compact Crossover concept, which was unveiled in 2022.
In the announcement, Toyota confirmed that this EV has a “sleek and stylish” coupe design with a spacious interior to make your journeys more comfortable. Regarding the interior, the company also notes that it would be “versatile,” but it did not reveal further information. Toyota has also said that the vehicle has “elevated driving dynamics” without going into specifics.
The video also reveals details like a rear light bar and a “hammerhead front face” similar to that of the Toyota Camry hybrid sedan. Rumors imply that this battery electric vehicle could be offered with various battery options. Plus, it has been suggested that the model will have a similar interior to the Urban Cruiser, with features like a 10.25-inch driver display.
The new Toyota electric vehicle is expected to be released in Europe, where it will join the bZ4X and Urban Cruiser electric SUVs. It will be revealed on March 11th at 23:01 GMT. However, the release date and pricing for this new Toyota BEV have yet to be revealed.
