Anker has launched a new HDMI cable at Amazon in the US and Germany. The Nano USB-C to HDMI Cable with 140W Input Port (3 ft, 4K, Upcycled-Braided) is designed to allow you to stream content and power your device through a single port. The company suggests that this accessory provides a tidier solution for your desk.
This 90 cm long Anker cable supports a 4K@60Hz resolution via the HDMI connector for your TV or monitor. At its base is a USB-C input port for up to 140W power supply for your host device, using a separate charging cable and wall charger. Anker notes that gadgets which use the PPS fast charging protocol may experience a reduced charging speed.
At the other end of the cable is a USB-C connector, connecting to the host for video transmission and power input. It is marketed as compatible with Thunderbolt 3, 4 and 5 ports and suitable for many devices like a MacBook Air, Steam Deck or Google Pixel 9. It is worth noting that Anker states that the cable is not compatible with the Nintendo Switch. Due to the size of the HDMI connector, the cable will also not work with some monitors including the Dell S3321QS, the ASUS VA24EHF and the AOC Q32E2N (full list in an mage below).
The cable is also said to be flexible thanks to a braided outer, and it has nickel-plated connectors. The Amazon US product listing indicates that a 6 ft/180 cm version could launch in the future. The Anker Nano USB-C to HDMI Cable with 140W Input Port (3 ft, 4K, Upcycled-Braided) is now available via Amazon for $28.99 in the US and for €29.99 in Germany. It remains to be seen when this accessory will launch in other countries.
