Alogic's Ark Pro 27,600mAh power bank launches as cheaper alternative to Anker's portable charger
Alogic, a company specializing in IT peripherals and consumer electronics, has launched the Ark Pro. It's a new power bank with a 27,600mAh capacity. The device supports up to 140W USB-C charging, suitable for various USB-C and Thunderbolt laptops, including the MacBook Pro. It also features a USB-A port which delivers up to 22.5W.
Similar to Anker's newer designs, the Ark Pro includes a clip-on USB-C cable that doubles as a carrying strap. A built-in display is also present for real-time information on charging status, estimated recharge time, battery health, and internal temperature. It closely resembles Anker's Prime Power Bank with a similar 27,650mAh capacity (currently $179.99 on Amazon).
The power bank is compliant with International Air Transport Association (IATA) regulations, so you can carry it aboard with no issues whatsoever. It has additional safety features such as thermal, over-voltage, and over-current protections.
Alogic was established in 2010 and is headquartered in Melbourne, Australia, designs and manufactures IT peripherals, consumer electronics, and mobility products. Their products include USB-C cables and adapters, charging solutions, and power banks.
The Ark Pro is available through Alogic's online stores in the UK, USA, Australia, and the EU, with prices set at £129.99, $149.99, AU$229.95, and €169.99, respectively.
