The Pixy Mini Pro is a new power bank currently being financed as part of a crowdfunding campaign. The model is advertised as the smallest, lightest and fastest power bank in the world, i.e., fastest power bank relative to its size, with a capacity of 10,000 mAh and an output power of 30 watts. The starting price is $29, with shipping estimated to take place in March 2025. As always, crowdfunding campaigns harbor certain risks, but Futurizta Tech has already successfully launched several products before, which at least minimizes the risk of crowdfunding fraud.
The advertised dimensions are 8 x 5.6 x 2.4 centimeters, which is the same size as a credit card in terms of length and width, and the weight is given as 186g. The aforementioned capacity of 10,000 mAh is a typical capacity for compact power banks and is generally suitable for recharging smartphones or Bluetooth headsets. Multiple fast charging protocols are specified: the power bank itself is said to be fully recharged in just 30 minutes, while a smartphone "can be charged 0% to 60% in just 30 minutes". The latter claim, however, depends on the battery size of the smartphone.
The Pixy Mini Pro can be used to charge two devices with up to 15 watts each at the same time, or a single device with 30 watts. A built-in USB-C is installed, which is twist-proof and also doubles as a carrying strap. Pass-through charging is supported, which allows the power bank and other devices to be charged at the same time. Lastly, an touch-activated LED display is on board, which displays the battery level.
