The Chinese company Anker offers a wide range of accessories and gadgets, many of which focus on energy supply. Therefore, the brand offers many power banks and larger power stations, which are also available on Amazon. Now, Anker is adding another power station to its lineup. The new offering is portable but not exactly compact and is primarily designed for stationary usage due to its high capacity.
To be more specific, Anker has sent out a newsletter announcing the upcoming release of the Anker Solix F3800 Plus, which should hit the market on February 26th. That said, it’s not quite clear which regions this release date applies to. Full technical specifications have not been disclosed either, but it is quite obvious that the new power station will be an improved version of the Anker Solix F3800, which offers a capacity of 3,840Wh and currently sells for $2,999 thanks to a $1,000 coupon on Amazon.
The two big changes of the Anker Solix F3800 Plus are supposed to be its improved solar charging capabilities and the compatibility with other energy sources. Charging via solar panels should now be possible at up to 3,200 watts and not just 2,400 watts. Moreover, the power station is now officially compatible with gasoline generators.
That said, Anker has not provided any additional information, and power stations usually do not need official support in order to be charged with regular generators. However, EcoFlow and some other competing manufactures offer generator that work best with their corresponding power stations and can automatically start charging when needed.
