The Anker Solix EverFrost 2 Electric Cooler has been launched in the US. The portable refrigerator, shown at CES 2025, is designed for use outdoors and arrives almost two years after the original version. As before, customers can choose from a range of sizes: 23L, 40L and 58L. The smaller 23L and 40L versions have a single compartment, while the 58L model offers two cooling areas, allowing you to chill and freeze items simultaneously.
The EverFrost 2 does not require ice, with Anker claiming that its FrostFlow Air-Cooled Refrigeration technology works 30% faster than competitor equivalents. For example, it is said to cool from 77 to 32°F (25 to 0°C) in 15 minutes when empty. The company states that this is achieved by a combination of fans and a compressor, which chills the walls and food simultaneously. The temperature can be set between -4 and 68°F (~-20 and 20°C)
The EverFrost 2 is equipped with a 288Wh LiFePo₄ battery, for up to 52 hours of cooling on a single charge. Plus, users can purchase a second battery ($199.99) to double this runtime to 104 hours. Anker asserts that this is the longest battery life in the battery-powered cooler market. On top of this, the batteries can act as a portable power bank, with 60W USB-C and 12W USB-A ports, and can be recharged via 100W solar, AC, car socket or USB-C inputs in under four hours.
Other features of the gadget include two 6-inch wheels, a handle that doubles as a fold-down tray and an integrated display showing information like the temperature. Plus, remote controls are available via the Anker app. Customers will also be able to choose from accessories like the Roadtrip Kit ($59.99), Hook-on Tray ($79.99) and Beach Wheels ($99.99). The dimensions of each variant are listed below.
