Anker has launched a Kickstarter campaign for its EverFrost Powered Cooler. The gadget is available in three sizes and can be recharged via solar power. The campaign launched on March 23 and has already raised over US$1,000,000; early bird pledges with a 35% discount on the MSRP are still available.

The Anker EverFrost Powered Cooler is now crowdfunding on Kickstarter. At the time of writing, the campaign has reached over US$1.2 million in pledges from around 1,700 backers. With the campaign running until early May, you can currently make an early bird pledge of US$519 to receive the Anker EverFrost Powered Cooler 30, a 35% or US$280 discount on the US$799 MSRP.

The Anker Everfrost Powered Cooler 40 is also available with a 35% or US$300 price cut on the US$849 future retail price. The Anker Everfrost Powered Cooler 50 is already sold out; the gadget has an RRP of US$949. The main difference between the three models is the capacity; the 30 has a 33L capacity, the 40 a 43L capacity and the 50 a 53L capacity. Plus, while the 30 and 40 coolers come in Forest Green, the 50 cooler has a Granite Gray casing.

The cooler, unveiled earlier this month, has a 299 Wh battery which can be recharged via a 100 W solar input. The device can cool at temperatures from 4 to 68 °F (~-20 to 20°C), and you can control various settings via an accompanying app. Plus, a built-in handle and wheels make the gadget easier to transport. Anker is shipping the EverFrost Powered Cooler to multiple countries such as the US, UK, Canada and EU nations such as the Netherlands and France. Presumably, the product will go on general sale later this year.
