Anker 552 USB-C Hub (9-in-1, 4K HDMI) has just arrived
The Anker 552 USB-C Hub (9-in-1, 4K HDMI), which you can use to expand the ports available on your laptop, has been launched. The nine ports include USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 and USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, with a 5 Gbps rate. You can also use a 480 Mbps USB-A port for data transfer, and SD/microSD card slots provide speeds up to 104 MB/s.
The Anker 552 is powered via a 100 W PD-IN port; it is worth noting that the device does not come with a charger, you must supply your own. The gadget requires 15 W to run, meaning 85 W pass-through charging can power your connected laptop. Plus, you can connect a monitor with a 4K@30Hz resolution via an HDMI 1.4 port, and the hub has a Gigabit Ethernet port.
The gadget measures 5.12 x 2.36 x 0.59-in (~130 x 60 x 15 mm) and weighs around 4.6 oz (~130 g). While Anker does not provide a list of compatible devices based on other similar models, this hub is expected to support various Windows and macOS and Linux laptops. You can buy the Anker 552 USB-C Hub (9-in-1, 4K HDMI) in the US for US$69.99, in the UK for £69.99 and in the EU for €69.99. Also recently unveiled by Anker was the 364 USB-C Hub (10-in-1, Dual 4K HDMI).
