Xiaomi Robot Vacuum E10 arrives as new cheaper model

Xiaomi has unveiled the Robot Vacuum E10 on its global website. The gadget, already on sale in parts of Southeast Asia, has up to 4,000 Pa suction power and can also be used to mop the floor. The new device is cheaper than other recently released Xiaomi models, such as the X10 Robot Vacuum.

The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum E10 has been revealed. The gadget appeared in a new listing on the company’s global website and is already on sale in several countries in Southeast Asia. The robot vacuum has up to 4,000 Pa suction power with four power levels on offer and a smart onboard water tank that can adapt the level of water dispensed based on the type of floor.

The E10 has various sensors to navigate your home, avoid obstacles and ledges, and plan an efficient route. Plus, the device is slim, measuring 8 cm (~3.15-in) tall, allowing it to move under various furniture items. You can ask the robot to provide audible updates on its cleaning progress and control the device using the Xiaomi Mi Home app. Alternatively, you can control the gadget with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant voice commands.

The robot has a 2,600 mAh battery and will intelligently returning to its dock when it is low on power. You can buy the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum E10 in Malaysia for RM899 (~US$203). It is unclear in which other countries the company plans to launch the new vacuum, when this will be and how much it will cost. The E10 was announced alongside the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum X10, an equally powerful yet more expensive model, which is accompanied by a self-emptying docking station.
