The Xiaomi Mijia Magnetic Track Light is now available to pre-order in China. The smart lighting system consists of a base track with magnetically mounted spotlights, grille lights, line lights and even security cameras. The product uses a GaN power supply and can be controlled with an app or voice commands.

Xiaomi has launched the Mijia Magnetic Track Light in China. The smart solution allows customizable lighting, where you can magnetically mount lights, or other gadgets of your choice, to a ceiling-mounted base track. Three smart light fixtures are available, described as a line light, a grille light and a spotlight. The 1.2 cm (~0.47-in) wide line light offers up to 560 lumens of brightness, the five-lamp grille light produces up to 350 lumens, and the spotlight, angled up to 24°, delivers up to 450 lumens.

The smart lights offer 10,000 brightness levels and stepless color adjustment from 2700 to 6000K, with Ra90 color rendering. The matte gray metal base track of the Mijia light is slim, measuring 5 mm (~0.2-in) thick, and an IoT adapter allows you to integrate a smart security camera without additional wires. The track lighting system uses a 120 W GaN power supply with 110 W load power, and you can control the smart track lighting via the Xiaomi Mijia app or with Xiao AI voice commands.

You can now pre-order the Xiaomi Mijia Magnetic Track Light in China, with kits starting from 199 yuan (~US$29). The most expensive package, named the 3m Worry-Free Set B, currently costs 1,898 yuan (~US$276) and is expected to retail for 2,371 yuan (~US$344) in the future. The kit contains a GaN power supply, three 1 m long base tracks, two type-I connections, two grille lights and a spotlight. It is unclear whether or when the product could launch in other markets.
