MagyarNew Xiaomi Xiaoai Speaker Kids Edition announced
The Xiaomi Xiaoai Speaker Kids Edition is now available to pre-order in China. Children can use Xiao AI voice commands or built-in dials to control the gadget. The dual-speaker device has 32 GB memory and allows you to listen to over 3,000 stories via the device, with more than 1,000 pieces of content relating to popular characters such as Thomas the Tank Engine.
Plus, the Xiaoai Speaker comes with a free 12-month subscription to the Himalaya audio platform, which includes stories from Disney universes such as Frozen and Moana. Xiaomi suggests that the content suits children from three to six years old. You can also use the speaker to learn English, play a quiz, or for parents to send messages to their children and vice versa. Bluetooth 5.2 lets parents control the speaker’s settings via a smartphone app, including content filtering, timings, and content scheduling.
The portable battery-powered gadget can last for up to 10 hours on a single charge. The smart speaker measures 98.5 x 85 x 60.3 mm (~3.88 x 3.35 x 2.37-in), is suitable for outdoor use and can be customized using an accompanying sticker pack. You can pre-order the Xiaomi Xiaoai Speaker Kids Edition in China for 299 yuan (~US$43) with a 30 yuan (~US$4) deposit.
