Xiaomi unveiled the Robot Vacuum-Mop 2i in India before its April 28 launch date. The gadget has up to 2,200 Pa suction power and various mopping modes. Plus, you can control the robotic vacuum cleaner via the Xiaomi Home App and with Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa voice commands.

The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum-Mop 2i has been revealed in India. The 2-in-1 robotic vacuum cleaner has up to 2,200 Pa suction power and a range of brushes to help it quickly collect dirt. The vacuum has a larger 450 ml dustbin, allowing you to empty it less frequently, and the filter is washable. The 270 ml water tank can dispense various levels of water based on how clean the floors are.

The Robot Vacuum-Mop 2i has 25 built-in sensors, including a gyroscope and optical sensors to help the robot accurately map your home. The sensors are also used to aid the device in navigating your home and avoiding obstacles and drops, like stairs. The gadget can also overcome obstacles 20 mm (~0.8-in) tall. You can control the robot using the Xiaomi Home App, where you can schedule future cleans. Alternatively, you can use Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa voice commands.

The gadget has a 2,600 mAh battery, though Xiaomi has not indicated the device’s runtime. The robot is slimmer than other models, measuring 8.13 x 35.3 cm (~3.2 x 13.9-in), allowing it to clean under many furniture items. The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum-Mop 2i will launch on April 28 for the discounted price of ₹16,999 (~US$208); in the future, the gadget will retail for ₹24,999 (~US$305). It is unclear whether or when the Xiaomi product could reach other markets.
