Unusual Xiaomi Mijia Multifunctional Rechargeable Desk Lamp unveiled
Xiaomi has launched the Mijia Multifunctional Rechargeable Desk Lamp in China. The gadget has three modes, allowing you to use the product as a flashlight or with clamp and stand accessories. The Multifunctional Rechargeable Desk Lamp has a 2,000 mAh battery, allowing up to 40 hours of light with a 10-lumen output.
At 60 lumens, the Mijia gadget lasts for seven hours or up to four hours at the maximum brightness of 100 lumens; the battery can be recharged via USB-C. You can adjust the lamp's colour temperature to between 2,700 and 5,000K using the switch at the rear of the lamp, and the product has RA90 color rendering. When magnetically attached to the taller stand, you can rotate the light source up to 180° vertically or 360° horizontally. The lamp has a 56.2 mm (~2.2-in) diameter and is 120 mm (~4.7-in) long.
The desk stand has a wide base of 120 mm (~4.7-in) and is 289.5 mm (~11.4-in) tall. You can now pledge 79 yuan (~US$11) to the Xiaomi Youpin crowdfunding campaign for the Mijia Multifunctional Rechargeable Desk Lamp. At the time of writing, over 3,000 people supported the project. The campaign will end on April 26, with the product due to retail for 99 yuan (~US$14). It is unclear whether or when the gadget could launch in other markets.
