The Xiaomi Smart TV X Pro has been revealed in India. The bezel-less device has a 96.6% screen-to-body ratio and is available in three sizes: 43-in, 50-in and 55-in. The 4K TV uses Vivid Picture Engine 2 with Smart Adaptive Brightness thanks to an integrated photoelectric sensor; Xiaomi does not list the screen's maximum brightness. The display covers 94% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, with has MEMC motion smoothing and support for Dolby Vision IQ and HDR10+ formats.
The smallest model has a built-in 30W speaker, while the larger 50-in and 55-in versions have a 40W sound system. All variants are compatible with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X technologies. The device uses the Patchwall interface with Google TV, allowing you to stream content from popular services like Disney+ and Netflix. You can also cast content from a mobile device using Google Chromecast. Plus, you can control the Xiaomi gadget with Google Assistant voice commands, quickly picked up via the integrated far-field microphones.
HDMI 2.1, USB 2.0 and optical ports allow you to connect gadgets such as games consoles or additional speakers. From April 19, you can buy the Xiaomi Smart TV X Pro in India starting from ₹32,999 (~US$404) for the 43-in model, which will retail for ₹49,999 (~US$612) in the future. The 50-in and 55-in models launch at discounted prices of ₹41,999 (~US$514) and ₹47,999 (~US$587), respectively; these versions have an MSRP of ₹59,999 (~US$734) and ₹69,999 (~US$856).
