MagyarNew TCL C84 4K Mini LED TV with gaming features unveiled
TCL has launched the new C84 TV series in the EU, available in 55-in, 65-in, 75-in and 85-in variants. The flagship model has a 4K Mini LED display with a native 144 Hz refresh rate and support for HDR10+, Dolby Vision and Dolby Vision IQ. The screen has a maximum brightness of 2,000 nits, and AiPQ Processor 3.0 picture quality algorithms optimize the image.
The new C84, also known as the C845, is geared for movie watching and gaming, with Game Master Pro 2.0, VRR and FreeSync Premium Pro to optimize the frame rate. You can connect your console via an HDMI 2.1 port, plus the TV has ALLM and a 240 Hz Game Accelerator to enhance the refresh rate while lowering latency. A built-in 2.1 channel ONKYO sound system provides an immersive audio experience compatible with Dolby Atmos.
The TCL TV uses the Google TV interface and supports Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa voice commands. You can use apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney+ to stream content on the device or cast from an iPhone or iPad via AirPlay 2. Plus, the gadget supports Apple HomeKit, for wider smart home integration. It is unclear precisely when the TCL C845 4K Mini LED TV will launch in Europe or how much it will cost. It also remains to be seen whether or when TCL will launch the gadget in other markets. The C845 was revealed alongside the C74 and C64 series TVs.
