Redmi Smart TV MAX 90-in 4K 144Hz model now available
The Redmi Smart TV MAX 90-in is now available to pre-order in China. The TV has an LCD panel with a 100-partition backlight and up to 700 nits brightness. The display covers 94% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, supporting Dolby Vision and HDR10+. Plus, with a 98% screen-to-body ratio, the model has a 4K 144 Hz refresh rate display with VRR and ALLM.
Other Redmi Smart MAX gaming features include support for AMD FreeSync Premium. You can connect gadgets like a games console via HDMI 2.1 and USB 3.0 ports. You can also use Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi 6 to wirelessly cast content from various Android, iOS, Windows and macOS devices. Plus, you can control the TV and other linked smart home gadgets via Xiao AI voice commands.
The TV is powered by a quad-core A73 processor with 3+32GB storage and has two built-in 15W speakers, compatible with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X technologies. You can now pre-order the Redmi Smart TV MAX 90-in in China for 7,999 yuan (~US$1,156) with a 100 yuan (~US$14) deposit. The gadget is expected to retail for 8,999 yuan (~US$1,300) in the future. It is unclear whether or when the device could launch in other markets.
