Sony has announced pricing and availability for the new BRAVIA XR TVs that are coming to the North American market. They will come in OLED, mini LED or Full Array LED varieties, all of which be 4K HDR, will run Google TV and have the latest Cognitive Processor XR. The new BRAVIA XR range for the US or Canada will have sizes ranging to 55-inch entry-level models to the top-end 98-inch X90L model.

Sony's BRAVIA XR 2023 (or A/XnnL) TVs are about to hit North America, albeit in 4K/HDR form only this year. Nevertheless, the series offers OLED, Mini LED or Full Array LED form, which support Google TV across the board in this generation.

The latest BRAVIA XR TVs also boast Sony's newest Cognitive Processor XR platform and Acoustic Center Sync, which finds and converts the most central channel from a compatible own-brand soundbar into a given system's central speaker, which might make the whole home theater set-up as "immersive" as possible.

Then again, only the A80L can combine Sony's OLED and Acoustic Surface Audio+ technology, while the X90L (or Full Array) series focuses on a 120Hz refresh rate, HDMI 2.1 support and ALLM instead. The range is completed by 2 different X93L and X95L lines "with thousands of precisely controlled Mini LEDs", although only the X95L variants have XR Clear Image, XR 4K Upscaling and Acoustic Multi-Audio+.

The X90L has the broadest range of sizes and prices, from the cheapest US$$1,299.99 55-inch model to the 2023 BRAVIA XR TV range's only 98-inch unit, set at a whopping US$$9,999.99 MSRP. However, only the X93L has units available to order today, although it only joins the previous X9nK generation on sony.com for now, with availability through other channels such as Best Buy to follow.
