New Xiaomi Roufeng Air Conditioner 1 hp pre-sale event launches
The Xiaomi Roufeng Air Conditioner 1 hp is now available to pre-order in China. The brand is marketing the smart home device as particularly energy efficient with an APF of up to 5.30, thanks to its full DC frequency converter. The air conditioner is suitable for rooms from 10 to 15 m² (~108 to 161 ft²) in size, with 605W cooling and 1,100W heating power.
The Roufeng Air Conditioner 1 hp has 650 m³ (~22,955 ft³) per hour air circulation and a wide 106 mm (~4.2-in) fan, capable of providing a gentle wind in various directions. Features of the product include rapid heating or cooling, humidity adjustment and a light sensor to intelligently adapt the settings based on the light in the room. You can remotely control the air conditioner with Xiao AI voice commands or via the Miia app, adjusting the temperature, setting schedules and pushing OTA updates to the device. A built-in LED display also shows information such as the temperature and status.
The internal unit is white, measuring 840 x 311 x 200 mm (~33.1 x 12.2 x 7.9-in). You can pre-order the Xiaomi Roufeng Air Conditioner 1 hp in China for 2,099 yuan (~US$304) with a 100 yuan (~US$14) deposit. After this pre-sale period, the gadget is expected to retail for 2,599 yuan (~US$376). It is unclear whether or when the Xiaomi smart home product could launch in other markets.
