Xiaomi Mijia Air Conditioner Great Power Saving 2 HP unveiled
The Xiaomi Mijia Air Conditioner Great Power Saving 2 HP is now available to pre-order in China. The device is suitable for a room around 20 to 30 m² (~215 to 323 ft²) in size, displacing 810 m³ (~28,605 ft³) of air per hour. The air conditioner uses a full DC inverter system and is classed as Level 1 energy efficient in China.
Xiaomi suggests that the new Mijia air conditioner has a broader temperature range than other models, which can heat or cool a room rapidly. You can also use the gadget to control the humidity, and it can run quietly; in its most powerful mode, the internal unit generates 46 dB of noise. You can remotely control the product with Xiao AI voice commands or in the Mijia app, with the ability to schedule the device and push OTA updates. The gadget is self-cleaning, with the option to receive in-app cleaning reminders, and an integrated LED screen shows the operating mode and temperature.
The powerful air conditioner is compact, with the white internal unit measuring 840 x 311 x 200 mm (~33.1 x 12.2 x 7.9-in). You can now pre-order the Xiaomi Mijia Air Conditioner Great Power Saving 2 HP for the discounted price of 2,799 yuan (~US$407) with a 100 yuan (~US$15) deposit. The gadget is expected to retail for 3,199 yuan (~US$465) in the future. It is unclear whether or when the device could launch in other countries.
