The EcoFlow Wave 2 portable air conditioner and heater’s pricing and full specification have been revealed in the US and EU. The gadget is suitable for vans, RVs and outdoor spaces, using an inverter compressor to generate 6,100 BTU (1,500 W) heating and 5,100 BTU (1,800 W) cooling power. Any condensed water is evaporated with the help of a heat tube, and water must be drained through a pipe in heating mode. Fast, Sleeping and Eco modes are offered alongside a fan-only setting.
With the add-on battery, the 1,159 Wh power pack provides up to 9.6 hours of run time in Eco mode. The detachable accessory also features USB-A and USB-C ports, allowing you to charge other gadgets. You can recharge the EcoFlow device via a wall outlet, a power station like the EcoFlow DELTA 2, a 12V car socket or 400 W solar panels. The cooler can run quietly, producing 48 dB in Eco mode and up to 58 dB on the fast setting.
The portable gadget measures 518 x 297 x 336 mm (~20.4 x 11.7 x 13.2-in) and is relatively light considering its power, weighing 14.5 kg (~32.0 lbs) without the add-on battery. The EcoFlow Wave 2 portable air conditioner and heater retails at outlets like Unaka and Drone Works Ireland for US$1,299 or €1,199. The add-on battery pack is sold separately, for US$899 in the US and €899 in the EU.
