The Volcan E300 is "coming soon" on Indiegogo, yet is already being touted as one of the most "reliable and efficient" portable power generator, as well as the most stylish, ahead of its launch. It comes in a form-factor small enough to be carried around like a briefcase, yet is slated to pack a "high-capacity battery". It is also rated to work with solar panels and with a "range" of cables and devices ahead of its launch.

The Volcan E300 is already pitched as the portable power station to be seen with, thanks to a "Technological Esthetic" design that integrates a carrying handle into a largely metallic-looking silver chassis. Despite its "small" footprint, its OEM asserts that it is the ideal back-up battery companion for the car or on the go.

The E300 is also backed as a "solar" power generator, although its maker has yet to specify any other options to replenish its "high capacity" battery. On that note, its actual size remains a mystery, as does how long it might take to discharge or re-charge in full.

In addition, Volcan makes no more than vague reference to the E300's port count or variety ahead of its launch; in fact, the most specific thing it will say about the new player in the portable power supply arena is that it weighs 7.9lb thus far. Hopefully, the new accessory will get less vaporware-like on its launch, an event set to take place on Indiegogo imminently.
