The AxonPad has arrived, with ZTE presenting the flagship Android tablet alongside the Axon 50 Ultra. The similarities between the two devices do not end there either. According to ZTE, the AxonPad matches the Axon 50 Ultra with a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset, making it one of the most powerful tablets on the market.
Additionally, the AxonPad supports 80 W wired charging, matching the Axon 50 Ultra. However, the former's 10,000 mAh battery is double the latter's battery. Moreover, ZTE's new devices share an in-house security chip that the company claims provides hardware-level encryption. Also, ZTE has not shared pricing or availability details yet.
Regardless, the AxonPad has a 12.1-inch IPS display that operates at 2,560 x 1,600 pixels in a 16:10 aspect ratio with a 120 Hz refresh rate. ZTE adds that the tablet weighs 605 g and is 6.5 mm thick before including any accessories. As ZTE's promotional images show, the AxonPad will be available with a keyboard cover and an active stylus. Again, the company has not confirmed pricing or availability for these yet, either.
