ZTE has just announced the release of its Nubia Neovision AR Glasses and Nubia Pad 3D to its global webstore. Accordingly, they are still at their full retail prices - however, for those looking for a bargain on a premium Android smartphone with a cutting-edge, selfie camera-hiding, edge-to-edge display, the OEM's recent Axon-series Ultra flagships are discounted by up to US$300 right now.

ZTE asserts that it has something compelling for those ready to consume or even create augmented reality content in both headset-based and "Eyewear-Free 3D" formats with the Nubia Neovision AR Glasses and Nubia Pad 3D respectively.

Both new immersive experience-ready devices are now available to order on the OEM's international website from now, priced at US$529 for the Neovision AR Glasses, and starting at US$1,199 for the Pad 3D with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage: a base model that is already out of stock at the time of writing.

Those unwilling to shell the extra US$100 out for the only other 12GB/256GB SKU of the new 2D/3D tablet could console themselves with one of ZTE's Axon x0-series smartphones instead. The high-end line has boasted the ability to ditch the "imperfection" of a visible selfie camera at an "Ultra" level since 2021.

ZTE's Android flagship of that year, the Axon 30 Ultra, is available for US$549 rather than US$849 as usual - in a 12GB/256GB configuration to boot. That deal is available via ZTE Global only, whereas the newer 40 Ultra is available on Amazon at US$599 to US$699 (25% off in both cases) with 8GB to 12GB of RAM respectively. Furthermore, there is an additional US$50 coupon to check on its page at the time of writing.
