While the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S9+ have been talked about extensively, the vanilla Galaxy Tab S9 hasn't received as much attention. A previous leak confirmed it would get IP67 water and dust resistance but not much more. Industry analyst Ross Young has now dropped some refreshing new information about the entry-level tablet.
The 11-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 will get a significant quality-of-life upgrade with an AMOLED panel, as opposed to LCD on its predecessors. Whether or not it will use the same 120 Hz Super AMOLED panel found on its siblings remains to be seen.
This should help bridge the gap between Samsung's premium tablets. However, it will likely come with a corresponding price increase, which already seems inevitable, given all three SKUs will launch with the shiny new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy.
Twitter leaker @Tech_Reve has also revealed the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra's storage options. The entry-level model has 8 GB LPDDR5X RAM and 128 GB UFS 3.1 storage. After that, one must get the upgraded (256 GB) variant for UFS 4.0 speeds and 12 GB memory. Lastly, the tricked-out version will pack 512 GB and 16 GB of storage and memory, respectively.
